Healthy Lawn Tips:

• Applying 1/10 inch of water daily supplies nearly 1 inch of water a week. Yet the lawn is not as healthy as if you had applied the water in one 1-inch or two 1/2 inch increments. The more water you apply at one time, the deeper and healthier the root system grows and the more resiliant the grass becomes.
• Grass is healthiest, most resilient, and weed-free when you mow at the high end of the height range and never cut off more than a third of the blade.
